PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) Instructor

Course Overview

The PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) Instructor course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and professional competence required to train and assess First Aid Responders in accordance with PHECC standards.

This 2-day instructor programme prepares participants to deliver the PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) three-day certified course and to effectively train learners in emergency first aid skills within workplace and community settings.

The qualification is measured against the QQI Level 5 Occupational First Aid Instructor standard and is recognised as meeting the instructional requirements under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007–2015.
