Leadership Skills Programme Overview

Duration of Programme  6 days of intensive contact training; participants will also undertake personal reading, research and workplace reflective practice.  

The structure will include 

  • Programme Induction Day and Pre-learning
  • Workshop on Management Styles Theory and Coaching Skills
  • Workshop on Leadership Styles and Effective management
  • Evaluation and participant application to organisational needs.
  • Assessments and presentations skills demonstrating

Programme Rationale

The programme is developed to meet the evolving educational and training needs of management professionals across various levels. Through an initial assessment of the specific requirements of participants, tailored training initiatives are designed to address both immediate and long-term sector challenges.


The programme is divided into key learning elements that allow managers to: 

  • Gain new insights and practical applications related to modern management practices.
  • Reflect on and improve their personal work practices with each phase of the programme.
  • Develop a broader understanding of how management principles interlink with other areas of their work environment.
  • This structure ensures that the educational needs of managers are met through both theoretical and practical skills development, with opportunities to apply new knowledge directly in the workplace after each cohort of learning outcomes.
Target Learners 
This programme is aimed at assisting those who wish to develop their understanding and application of effective management and development of inspirational leadership skills. The context of this learning will be set by each individual learner group, and a holistic approach to learning styles will be undertaken.

The programme is accessible to all levels of leaders and management and will assist learners in understanding core management skills, developing relations through leadership and identifying areas needing enhancement to ensure collaborative engagement within the organisation. A focus on management ability and positive interaction will be central to the programme.
